Parkmead Elementary is a K-5 school in the Walnut Creek School District.  We are one of five elementary schools within the district and have earned the state Distinguished School Award in 2008.

Parkmead is unique within the Walnut Creek School District in that it includes both the community-based school for students within the Parkmead attendance area (PCS), as well as an alternative school - Parkmead Active Learning School (PALS) - which serves students from throughout the school district.

PERC, Parkmead Educational Resource Council, is a third organization which encompasses the whole school. PERC is made up of parent leaders in both schools and is the whole school fundraising organization. PERC raises funds through various fundraising events to support the whole school budget.

Visit the PERC Website to learn about our whole school Fundraising Programs.
