Parkmead PTA News and Events:
The PTA supports many events at Parkmead. Find out how you can help! We have many fun and different opportunities for you to help at school. Volunteering is a great way to participate in our school community and meet other school families. Click here to sign up on line for our whole school events and other volunteer positions. Our meetings take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Fundraising:
Visit the PERC Website for all the information on our whole school fundraising efforts. Fundraising is critical to the continuation of programs that are important to our students and parent community, especially in light of the California Budget Crisis. PERC supports technology and science instruction, aides, supplies and books for teachers as well as supporting whole school events such as the Fall Carnival and the Book Fair.
Communication:
Parkmead is supporting their green efforts by publishing school news and events electronically on a weekly basis. We are saving trees and money by using e-mail to publish this information rather than making paper copies for all families.
Many of our district programs, such as Art, Music and PE, are supported by the Walnut Creek Education Foundation. We appreciate the support at WCEF and encourage all parents to contribute to their efforts. Click here to learn more about WCEF.
